Steps to Follow When Blackberry Cannot Read Media Card or Internal Memory

Are you having problems with your Blackberry Media Card or the internal memory. I have a lot of questions regarding that in the last week and I found a solution that has worked on two phones. I cannot guaranty it will work on your own Blackberry phone but it is worth trying.
If you are facing a problem in which your phone cannot read your media card or your Blackberry phone is telling you that your internal memory cannot be accessed, then you can give this a try. This error can be really disturbing because it means losing all your pictures, music and video files. There are few steps you can carry out in attempting to recover your media card or phones internal memory.

STEPS TO FOLLOW WHEN BLACKBERRY CANNOT READ MEDIA CARD OR INTERNAL MEMORY:

Tip 1 :
Try to repair the media card/internal memory on your phone:
=> On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
=> Click Memory.
=> Press the Menu key while the memory you want to repair (media card or internal memory) is highlighted.
=> Click Repair.
=> Complete the instructions on the screen.

This should repair your media card but if you get an error message like Media Card Repair Failed, then this will lead us to tip number 2

Tip 2 :
You should try to repair on your computer:
Connect your Blackberry phone to a computer via USB and follow the steps below
1. Open My Computer and right-click on the disk that you want to check.

2. Choose Properties, and then click on Tools
3. Below Error-checking, click on Test Now or Test Now, depending on how it is written on your computer. A dialog box that reveals the Examine disk choices is displayed,

4. Tick the two buttons that read Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors

5. Click Start
and wait for the process to complete.
After completion, you will get a message if it was successfully repaired or not. Disconnect your phone from your computer to check if your phone can read your media card or the internal memory again.
If this doesnt work, then you might need to format your media card. If you format your media card, you are going to lose all your files.
